Tesla Miao, vice-president JC Trans Event & JC Trans Academy, visited APAT’s headquarters to meet with representatives of the Portuguese association, with the aim of strengthening ties between the organizations and aligning strategies for cooperation between China and Portugal in the logistics and freight forwarding sectors. The scale and scope of this platform is undoubtedly an opportunity for Portugal to expand its horizons: JC Trans has a global network of contacts, with thousands of freight forwarders, business opportunities, and operational connections.
 

JCTrans operates as a massive logistics marketplace, connecting freight forwarders with international partners, facilitating connections and requests for quotes, and enabling direct networking among freight forwarders; among its many features, JCTrans offers rating and credit systems, financial guarantees between members, dispute resolution mechanisms, tracking, and many other services that streamline freight forwarders’ operations. The inaugural meeting was a success: discussions between the two institutions will continue in the coming weeks.
